Seven is an all-day eatery, located in Uccle, Brussels.
The design reveals the inherent qualities of the existing shell, establishing a subtle dialogue between structure and intervention. The space balances contrasts —organic and linear forms, smooth and rough textures —without relying on decoration or stylistic trends.
Minimalism here is spatial, not aesthetic: function and material expression define the atmosphere. A central bench with an organically shaped planter greets visitors at the entrance, leading to a long counter. Seating is organized into four distinct zones: a reading lounge with low chairs and stainless-steel shelving; two-person tables along a curving wall; a sculptural group table echoing the building’s geometry; and a quieter work-oriented corner facing a landscaped inner courtyard.
